I have been teaching in Jewish supplementary schools since 1996 in a variety of capacities (music, Hebrew, and classroom teacher). I have been fortunate to have worked with many wonderful mentors and leaders in my teaching career. I have also had the opportunity to do some formal graduate study in Jewish Education through the Siegal College of Jewish Studies, which is now part of Case Western Reserve University.
Currently, I teach a parent-child class at Sinai Temple Religious School in Champaign-Urbana. I enjoy singing, creating, and story telling with a group of toddlers and preschoolers from 1-4 years old. Our class content focuses on Jewish values, culture, and the rhythms of the Jewish calendar. I am also a fan of the PJ Library program and excited to have started to help my local Jewish Federation with the PJ Library Program as a volunteer professional.
Hand in Hand Families can find my recordings of many songs we sing in class on Google Drive. If you would like more information about my work in Jewish Education, feel free to contact me through the tab on the top of the main page.
